Her focus is questioning preconceived attitudes in the midst of contemporary challenges and she has a strong reputation for delivering intelligent, inventive solutions that creatively add value for clients who are looking to invest in the future.

In addition to founding HNNA and Assemblage, Hannah has a highly successful academic record. Her knowledge of speculative design strategies has been instrumental in shaping HNNA’s approach to design through research. She presents internationally and is a Lecturer at The Bartlett, University College London (UCL) on both Architecture and Urban Design programmes undertaking long-term research through design, addressing the challenges of global urbanisation. Her work includes being masterplanner and architect of the Greenwich Design District, London, masterplanner of the Mayfair Neighbourhood Plan, winner of the Iraq Parliament and designer of Economic Housing Settlements for UN HABITAT.

Through all her work lies a preoccupation with the nature of materials, the technology of fabrication and the poetics of space. All solutions focus on maximisation of potential and attention to detail, with common themes of efficiency and sustainability.
